Green Valley Ranch is located just south of Highway 285 a mile or so past the bulk of green_valley_ranchretail offerings in Conifer.  The largest landmark to help recognize when you’ve come to Green Valley Ranch is the huge Mountain View RTD parking lot (Park-N-Ride)on the north side of 285.  When you see that, Green Valley Ranch is on the south side of the highway.  Other landmarks include the sign for Springs Road as well as the Green Valley Center which among other businesses is home to the Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce.  This low-lying building is at the entrance to Green Valley Ranch in Conifer.

You’ll find the name Green Valley Ranch to be very descriptive—in the spring and summer the broad valley is beautiful and dotted with ponds and typically, quite a few horses wandering around.  Horse properties line the meadow with home sites frequently just into the lodge pole forest.

Homes for sale in Green Valley Ranch are primarily Conifer horse properties.

Homes here have MR-1 zoning and MR-2 zoning and occasionally an A-2 zoned horse property.  Water to these homes is provided by individual wells either household or domestic,so be sure to have an experienced agent (like me for example) research this if you plan to water horses, sewer is individual septic tanks and gas is primarily propane although there are some homes with no gas service—so heat will be with electric baseboard or wood/pellet burning.

View Across Green Valley RanchHomes in Green Valley Ranch are situated on half acre to two and a half acre parcels although there are a few outlying homes on larger acreage even exceeding 20 acres!  The lots provide privacy, views, and the feel of being away from it all.

There are plenty of recreational opportunities around Green Valley Ranch including quick access to Foxton Road; home to Newton Park, Beaver Ranch Park ( and disc golf course) Reynolds Park with great hiking trails  and in the not-to-distant future Staunton State Park will be just over the hill.

Whether you like to hike and mountain bike or cross country ski and snowmobile, the area around Green Valley RanchGreen Valley Ranch provides ample opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.
